Local Services

How do I find a dumpster rental?
It is always best to work with a local company with reputable experience in the industry. Look for a well-established company with a positive reputation with customers. If you are looking for a reliable dumpster rental company serving Matagorda, Wharton and Bay City areas in Texas, call Aqua Zyme Office at 979-245-5656.

What size roll-off dumpster should I use?
When taking on a new project, it is important to choose the right sized roll-off dumpster that can keep up with the pace of your project. At Aqua Zyme, we have both 20 and 30 yard containers available! Talk to our team for assistance in selecting the right dumpster for your specific application and needs.

How long can I rent a dumpster for? Do you offer longer-term roll-off dumpster rentals?
Our aim is to offer you services that are both economical and convenient for you. For those reasons, we have no time restrictions and allow our customers to rent a roll-off dumpster for as long as they need it. If you opt to rent a dumpster long-term, no rent will be charged for the first 7 days. After 7 days, you will be charged a $7.00 per day rental fee.

Where should I locate my dewatering facility?
Consider zoning restrictions, inside or outside city limits, proximity to residential areas, access to city sewer & driving distance from your service area. Remember that any permits obtained are usually tied to the specific property, so you want to be sure it’s where you want to stay.

What permits and/or approvals will I need?
Every area has it’s own set of rules, often regulated by the city, health department, county, state or country. AS a general rule of thumb, whichever entity regulates your truck permits will likely regulate your dewatering facility, as well.

What about effluent & dewatered sludge disposal?
Give adequate consideration to where you intend to dispose of the effluent water. Be sure to obtain the proper approvals — don’t assume anything! The same applies for disposal of the dewatered sludge.

What about disposal trucking?
Consider whether you want to own & operate your own roll-off truck(s) or contract with someone else to haul your dewatered sludge for disposal. If your site will not have access to city sewer services, you will need to provide for trucking the effluent/filtrate water to it’s final disposal destination

How can I know that dewatering will actually save me money?
Do the math . . . Prepare a cost analysis, using actual figures, to compare what you are currently paying (or expect to be paying if starting a new business) -vs- the cost to dewater. Once you know your own costs, AQUA-Zyme (ADS) can help you with the rest. Other things to consider are distance & availability of the disposal sites in your area. Sometimes, disposal is cheap enough, but you might have to travel 60 miles — one way! Check on the hours they will allow you to dispose & be sure they don’t have quantity limits which will impede your ability to dispose. If you can’t empty your truck, you can’t go do the next job. Consider land application for your effluent, if available. This can be a considerable cost savings if you have the land for it. Some regulators require a certain percentage of waste to be “beneficially recycled” so, if you are not planning to compost the dewatered sludge yourself, check to see where other composting sites are already in operation. They might be permitted to receive your particular type of waste.

Is there a warranty on ADS equipment?
All warranties will be manufacturers’ of equipment warranties, generally for 1 year. ADS warrants standard filter media (330 micron) for a period of 5 years from date of sale to include all normal wear and tear and excludes any manner of damage due to misuse, mischief, or other use of equipment not for intended purposes.

When will my equipment be delivered?
ADS usually has equipment in stock and available for immediate delivery upon receipt of full payment or, in the case of a municipality or government entity, upon receipt of an approved purchase order. Custom orders may require 8 – 10 weeks.

What about start-up of my new ADS Dewatering System?
An ADS Field Service Representative will be available for two days for set-up and initial operation of the equipment and for operator training (within the continental United States). Adequate notice, generally two weeks, should be given when scheduling our Field Service Representative.

The ADS Waste Disposal System is completely shop assembled and, upon delivery, is ready for installation. It is something that companies and organizations will always have to contend with.
